a big thank you to everyone that came down to last weeks
factory show in sydney. it was wonderful to see all those familiar faces
and a lot of new ones too... we also want to extend our thanks to
children collide and the golden age for sharing the stage.
the girls are going to disappear for a short hiatus and focus on recording
their debut album....there wont be a great deal of news over the coming

The girls' first album Shadows Evolve, will see it's
third uk single released on November 13. The title track taken from
the album will include two new versions of run for our lives

there, so for any fans in japan keep a watch out that. the band were
very grateful to anyone & everyone who made their last trip such

black rebel motorcycle club on their national north american tour starting
in englewood, colorado on the 5th february. after criss- crossing the
country, they will conclude the first leg of the tour in new york before
they break off to perform along side the bravery and stellerstarr* for
the nme brat tour show in london.
the morning after girls will then join stellerstarr* on a bunch of national
uk dates in support of the upcoming release in mid march, before they
head back to america to rejoin black rebel motorcycle club for a west
coast run of dates. They will also be appearing at austin's infamous

playing shows in melbourne & sydney recently, the morning after
girls finished their run of australian dates at the troubadour in brisbane
on the weekend... with little time for rest, the band went into the
triple j studios for a live recording session for home and hosed. five
songs were recorded including two previously unrecorded tracks. the
exact broadcasting date will be confirmed soon. in the meantime, triple
j will be offering the new single 'shadows evolve' as a free download

confirmed for early 2006, the girls have been invited to join
black rebel motorcycle club for their north american tour which will
kick off first week of february through to the end of march. All the

and the fun continues this weekend as the girls headline the hopetoun
stage in sydney's domain. on stage times are 9.15pm - 10.15pm. the band
unveiled some of their newest material during their set last week so

will be performing live on triple j's home & hosed in december so

as you may have realised, we've been touring overseas for the past two
months. we played something like thirty shows, across the united states
of america, canada, england and japan. it was great to play to so many
new audiences, all of whom were very supportive, and made all the shows
some of the best we've experienced.consequently,
we have been invited to return to the uk next year, as we will be releasing
"prelude: eps 1 & 2" through the people at best before
records in february. we will be following that closely with a big tour
of the united states. to celebrate all the good news and our happy travels,
we are re-releasing our first ever ep, combining it with our second
ep, plus a new song, shadows evolve. look out for the new video over
the next few weeks which was made whilst we were in new york...following
our first show back in sydney (with dandy warhols at the gaelic club)
we will also be playing in melbourne, sydney and brisbane, as well a
special appearance at homebake.

two great shows with the stool pigion people and one at the barfly.
thanks to everyone that came out. we were seriously overwhelmed by the
reception for our first ever UK dates. but to top this, this coming

are doing a dj set at the legion. amazing company!
then we're off to birmingham on friday to play the gonzo tour with be
your own pet and goldie lookin chain.

a row and we are incredibly excited by the warm welcome we received
and the crowds that came out to see us play. thanks to everyone who
came out and especially to those that made to feel like we had come

we're currently in toronto, canada where we are playing at the infamous
horse shoe on tuesday at 11pm. at the end of the week we head to the
UK to play in the city in manchester plus a bunch of dates in london.

It's always nice starting off a newsletter with some good news, so here
it is - the morning after girls have just signed a record deal for the
release of the first 2 ep’s through Rainbow Quartz for the us
& canada + will be heading off at the beginning of september for
more international adventures.
we'll be playing more shows than we did on our last trip & we'll
be adding to the tour date section over the next couple of weeks...
so check out our live section, it's looking pretty crazy but it's going
to be a hell of a lot of fun. the girls will be playing at cmj
in nyc, in
the city in manchester & bandstand
in japan. we'll also be playing in canada & london
& doing a bunch of dates in various places along the way...
big thanks to kcrw (legendary la radio station) who are welcoming us
to the usa & having us record a live performance on morning becomes
eclectic on the 8th September at 11.15 LA time. You can watch us live

on the local front, we're doing a farewell show at club 77 on
saturday the 27th september. tickets only
available on the door, so don't miss out. to celebrate our record deal,

The Spectrum show this saturday
the 30th with the Dolly Rocker Movement and The Whats has been cancelled.
Scott's ill and we need him to get better, so he's going to rest up
some...As soon as he's on the mend we'll be organising another show
and will let you know where and when it will take place. Until then,
make sure you have a great weekend for all of us!

well, it's news time again...
martin is on a short trip to india, thinking of you.. he'll be back
in a couple of weeks. we've all been here in sydney, still working on
new songs but we're also planning our next o/s trip... very exciting.
anyways, for the sydney folk, we will be playing a headline show @ spectrum
along with the dolly rocker movement & the whats, it'll be a good
night. it's been a while since we played in sydney so please do come
along.. more news soon

the girls have been very busy
recording new songs. we know that we'll be heading down to melbourne
for the 4th june and it sounds like we'll be heading to brisbane pretty
soon after. thanks to all those who came out the other night for the
'pray to get in' show @ the annandale. it's also nice to see more people
signing up for our mailing list, so thanks to you too.

so... we're back... we're playing
@ newtown on friday 22nd april. we're also playing at the come together
festival @ luna park in sydney on saturday 23rd april @ 1pm... there
are some new photos that we've uploaded from our trip and just other
bits and pieces that we hadn't uploaded before. oh, and yes.. for those
of you have had seen the recent advertisments that have claimed that
we will 'expand your mind', we trust that our fans can do it themselves...
and if not, then don't bother at all..

thanks to those who came along
to the ding dong show in melbourne on saturday night. this will probably
be the last post from us until we get back from the states. we'll all
be back in april.

a very sincere thanks to all who
turned up to the spectrum show on saturday night. we really were quite
blown away by the crowd response, and the turn out. apologies to those
who couldn't make it in, it sold out pretty quickly. we'll definitely
be playing another headline show when we get back from our o/s trip
in march - april (sxsw + some shows in the usa), stay tuned for more
news there. our last gig before we leave our shores will be at the ding
dong in melbourne on saturday 5th march.

this time next month we'll be heading to the USA to play at the south-by-south-west
festival.. we've got a couple of shows coming up before we go so have
a peek in our live section. we'll be headlining a show at spectrum in
sydney on saturday 12th february followed by a gig on the 5th march
in melbourne at the ding dong.

'the morning after girls 2' was released today. this is the second ep
from us which features 6 tracks and 2 video clips (chasing us under,
hi-skies, interlude, always mine, fall before walking, slowdown, hi-skies
(video), hidden spaces (video). we've got a show coming up on the 12th
of february at spetrum in sydney so we hope to see some of you sydney
siders at the shows.

the dig! weekend is over and a lovely time was had. we hope those who
came along enjoyed the music at the after party and the company of the
lovely mr matt hollywood and brent deboer. make sure you check out matt's
